Feel Better and Lose Weight with Advocare

I have been taking AdvoCare products for about a year now.  I have tried many products to help with losing weight and just to feel better. AdvoCare was the first product that I could actually feel it was in my body. One of the first products I tied first was the Metabolic Nutrition System (MNS)- Max-Energy. I felt a difference that first day having much more mental focus and energy to perform my job duties more efficiently during the day. I had energy at the end of the day, so I did not feel like just sitting down on the couch and watch 3 hours ot tv before I got up and did it all again the next day. I also felt a change in my appetite cravings. The main diffence was that I was satisfied only eating 3/4 of the plate instead of the whole full plate. It has helped me lose more than 35 pounds and I feel better because my body was getting everything it needs.

I use AdvoCare as a major part of my nutrition and fitness plan. Nutrition playes a major role in weight management and being healthy. If you would like to learn more, check out the website at www.advocare.com/09062950 or leave me a message - I'd be glad to share.

AdvoCare helps ensures you are getting what your body needs. I have included a little about that product below or click MNS® Max Energy

Results Are Not Optional

I am always amazed at how much I know and how much I still don't know. As more people learn about where I came from they always ask, how did I do it - how did you lose over 200 pounds - and how do you keep going? I have a whole list of stock answers, but it always makes me think about those questions because I am still can't believe that I'm still going. If you don't know me, then you don't know that I have a lifetime of falling down and then just sitting there in a big puddle of self pity usually stuffing my face with some kind of comfort food.

The answer to the first question - how have I lost over 200 pounds? One baby step at a time. I started slow with little changes and kept adding more changes to the ones I had already made until I had made some major changes. I work with a great trainer, Ken Schultz, and after I had been whining about how hard this journey was, that I wasn't making enough progress and that I wanted to quit, he pretty much ignored my complaints and simply told me "Results Are Not Optional". I can whine, I can cry, I can complain, I can tell him that I hate him and that I want to quit -- but Results Are Not Optional.

The answer to the second question - how do I keep going? Quitting is not an option. I don't give myself the choice. I'm human and I fail sometimes, and then wonder why I feel like crap. But when I honestly look at choices I've made I always have to admit that I gave myself the option to fail. When I don't give myself that option - I succeed. Not always on the schedule I would like, but I succeed. So although it's not always easy, it is simple.

Your dreams, whatever they may be, can become reality, one choice at a time. Don't take the option of quitting on yourself, just make small changes, one choice at a time.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring. I am energized by feeling the sun on my face again. And I am ready to recommit to this process. I am not "starting over" because I never stopped, but I've caught my breath and I'm ready to run again. I am looking forward to seeing that Advocare box on my doorstep in a day or two so I can get that Herbal Cleanse started!

You Just Get Up

I just finished watching Scott Hamilton on Bio TV - "Scott Hamilton - Return to the Ice" and I just had to share what he said at the end. . .

"When you fall down, the next thing you have to do is get back up. Not only do you have to get up, you have to get up and face something.

When you fall down -- you get up. You just get up. It's gonna be tough and it's not gonna be easy and it's gonna be risky . . . . get up.

If you do everything perfectly and fine and great . . . well terrific, OK, wow, what a great thing. But to fall down and then have to get up and do something tough. That's what this whole thing is about."

Well don't I feel stupid???? I've been feeling like crap for the past 2 weeks or so - tired, aggitated, cranky, everything hurt, really painful leg cramps after workouts. I kept thinking that I had reached the point in my journey where I was pushing too hard and that I should back off -- too many workouts, not enough food. Well DUH! I just got back from the gym, and a typically tough workout and I feel great. Huh?!?

The lightbulb just went on! Although I've been following the Advocare plan for nearly a year, I had slacked off -- skipping workouts, skipping meals, drinking more diet soda and coffee, blah, blah, blah. About 3 days ago, I went back on plan - meal or snack every 3-4 hours, MNS 3, Spark instead of soda, drank all the water. And wonder of wonders, I am feeling pretty damn good again. It's not rocket science, it just works! You follow the plan and it works.

As for the "wake you up in the middle of the night" leg cramps - I started mixing Advocare Rehydrate with my pre-workout Spark --no more leg cramps!!!!!

I've had enough of the snow and cold. Spring arrives on March 20th at 1:32 p.m. and I'll be starting another Advocare Herbal Cleanse in about 5 days - this will be my third in the past year. I am expecting great results, just like the last two times. It's Spring Cleaning Time!

You Can Be Amazing

Hello and Welcome to my blog!

Do you need to lose a few pounds? Maybe more than a few? I needed to lose a lot more than a few. At only 47, over 450 pounds and a step away from spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair, I decided to change my future. I lost 150 pounds by following a painfully restricted diet, which was enough to get both knees replaced. That was the easy part, I still needed to lose another 150 pounds. After finishing 6 months of physical therapy I could walk again, but I wasn't going to stop until I reached my goal, so I found a good trainer and started a regular exercise routine. We tried several different eating plans (not diets!) and they all worked to a degree and I lost another 30 pounds. That still wasn't enough.

This is when my trainer introduced me to Advocare. I started out using Spark and Meal Replacement Shakes. Even though I was exercising regularly and eating healthy I still needed help. I decided to try the Cleanse, then started the Lean in 13 plan. I added Catalyst, Thermo Plus and Slim to help speed up my metabolism to get those calories burning. So far I've lost another 30 pounds. I'm down to 235 and still losing.

No matter what your size or what you want to achieve, if you invest in yourself, dedicate the time and the effort, you can reach your goals. Advocare can help improve your health, increase your energy and boost your efforts to drop those extra pounds.

I feel better now than I have ever felt, not just physically, but emotionally. I'm stronger, I'm happier, I'm more confident and I know I can finish this. I'm well on my way to achieving goals I had convinced myself I never could. Next year at this time, with the help of Advocare, I will have achieved my goal of 150 pounds and be climbing to the top of Pikes Peak.

I've started my journey and am well on my way. Are you ready to get going?
